What is this replacement filter for?

Advised to be changed once the color of the filter turns brown in color.

• TOMAL ® Carbon Cartridge (Blue) is your second line of defence against harmful chlorine present in the water. Carbon Material filters the chlorine and other chemicals present in municipal water. It removes the strong odour that is found in chlorinated water and you get better drinking water taste! Life span is generally 6-8 months or less depending on the quality of feed water.

• TOMAL® Carbon+Alkaline Hybrid (Red) Cartridge is TOMAL® exclusive product innovation of natural minerals allowing alkaline water to calibrate one’s body pH level to resist and reverse free-radical based ailments.
